Increase Your Home’s Energy Efficiency With A New Furnace
Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) tells you how much of the fuel that your furnace burns turns into heat for your building. As furnaces get older, they can lose AFUE if they are not properly maintained, becoming more inefficient.
A brand-new furnace can dramatically increase the energy efficiency of your home or business. Modern high-efficiency gas furnaces can have 95%-98% AFUE. Compared to older gas furnaces, which can have an AFUE of 60%-80%, you could reduce your heating bill by 15%-35%.
This means that the cost of replacing your old furnace can be offset by the energy savings you’ll see over time! We can help you find the perfect energy-efficient furnace for your home.
Interested in heating and air conditioning? We can also install a heat pump; they’re incredibly energy-efficient, and with new Cold-Climate technology, will even cover most of the heating your home requires all winter, they can largely reduce the heating load on your furnace, saving you money.

Our Furnace Installation Process
We pride ourselves on the thoroughness of our furnace installation process. Here’s how it works:
- Consultation and assessment: We help you determine if your furnace should be repaired or replaced (if you have an existing furnace). From there, we go through different options for furnaces that are perfectly sized to heat your home or business using a heat load calculation. We check your ductwork, ventilation, and gas line to ensure that you have the infrastructure you need for your furnace.
- Removing your old furnace: We carefully disconnect your existing furnace from gas lines, electrical, ductwork, and venting, then haul it out. Where possible, we recycle your old unit.
- Preparing for installation: Our team will clear the area where the furnace needs to be installed. We may need to modify ductwork, gas lines, drain lines, and venting, especially if you’re installing a high-efficiency furnace (which may require a new venting system).
- Installing your furnace: We level and secure the new unit, then connect it to your gas lines, electrical, thermostat, ductwork, and venting.
- Testing: We thoroughly test your new furnace to ensure that all connections are secure, that there are no leaks, and that your home or business is heating properly.
Once the installation process is complete, your technician will walk you through the process of using your new furnace.
We’ve perfected the process of installing furnaces in Winnipeg; your new furnace will be installed in a day. Many of our installs are completed within an afternoon!
